Registered Nurse Job Description:
We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care in various healthcare settings, including children’s camps, home care agencies, hospitals, nursing homes, and private residences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Manage home care cases
- Monitor and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- Operate or monitor medical equipment
- Participate in community needs assessment and program development
- Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to the nursing profession
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Relevant certifications, including CPR and mental health first aid
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
- Experience in one or more areas of specialization, such as emergency room, geriatrics, mental health, palliative care, or rehabilitation
- Bilingual proficiency
- Ability to supervise 5-10 people
- Valid driver’s license and access to own vehicle
- Willingness to travel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a team player
- Criminal record check and various security and safety checks required
